The mystery of the triune God is the beginning, the foundation and the end of the economy of human salvation. The primary role of this Secretariat is, therefore, to assiduously promote by word and deed, worship and devotion to the Most Holy Trinity, using also means and aids suited to today’s times, so that people may be helped to know to love the triune God, especially in His relations with mankind, and in those things that witness and make manifest His life-giving presence in souls and in the world (CC.73).
